All our guided day hikes are guaranteed to be private exclusive affairs. Once we meet you at the start of the tour we are yours for the rest of the trip. Our guides will tailor their route based on your guidance and the abilities of your family. Andorra provides an expansive choice of options whether valley walks or hikes to some of the highest mountain peaks. Whatever the route, you will experience glorious scenery, fascinating history and unspoilt nature.

To really explore Andorra and the Pyrenees you must spend some time on the mountains, touching, feeling, and taking in the breathtaking landscape. You have an undiminishing array of alternatives to choose from including low level mountain hikes for easier introductions or just easy days, to mid mountain terrain that offers slightly harder hiking with some height gain and descents, to the more exnihilating high level mountain hiking to take in the amazing views from a mountain peak.

As well as the sport of hiking our guides love nothing more than to show people the local history and culture and the hikes become so interesting that you even forget you are walking. For nature and wildlife enthusiasts, or even those just younger in years, there is much fauna and flora to explore including what you may touch, to what you should not! To spotting birds of prey, deer and even a tracking down families of marmots.

Choose a half day, full day or several days hiking, may be even taking in a mountain hut stopover, the possibilities are endless.

Easy

Low Level Valley

Hiking offers a variety of themes that generally hug the valley floor and is for all ages and abilities. These hikes offer easy walking and could take in iron mines, forests, mountain huts, indigenous wildlife and vegetation and the National Parks and U.N.E.S.C.O World Heritage Sites. Once your booking is confirmed we would be pleased to provide you with some alternative hike suggestions, with descriptions and photos for you to consider.

Medium

Mid-Mountain

Hiking encompasses some mild ascent and descents with height gains of 300m-500m (1,000–1,500 ft) but once again would suit most ability ranges. Importantly by undertaking a little more exertion you get the chance to visit some fantastic lakes and possibly glacial circuits that cannot be experienced lower down, and on a hot day the lakes are most welcome, pack your swimmers! Once your booking is confirmed we would be pleased to provide you with some alternative hike suggestions, with descriptions and photos for you to consider.

Hard

High Mountain

Hikes are just as they are described, they take you high up into the highest terrain and often involve the very satisfying aspect of bagging a peak. These hikes may be hard work for children under 8-10 years old. The height gains can be from 500m-1500m (or 1,500-4,500 ft), or to put into UK terms, akin to climbing some of the highest peaks in the UK. You may trek through miniature Rhododendron forests, clamber over boulder forests, hop on stepping stones through streams, find remote but beautiful lakes and of course stare in wonder at the amazing views. Once your booking is confirmed we would be pleased to provide you with some alternative hike suggestions, with descriptions and photos for you to consider.

We can also arrange various other exciting activities such as caving, bridge swings, road cycling and many more. Just let us know and we will arrange it for you.
