No matter your level of horse rider from complete novice to expert, taking a ride in the valleys and mountains compares to nothing else. A local riding school with 20 years experience and certified instructors provides a great number of ponies and horses to suit all ages and abilities from those wishing to take a short ride for the first time to those wanting to explore at a gallop.
Safety is paramount and all riders are assessed as to their ability to carefully match rider and horse; all equipment required is provided including riding hats before heading off with your guide.
You will start on tracks initially into the lower mountain areas before steadily climbing into the heart of the mountains along wide well trodden paths alongside farmers fields and through pine forests. There may be opportunities to increase the exhilaration a little cantering and galloping through open grassed prairies as you wish.
The mountain scenery is breathtaking whichever direction you head just don’t forget to pinch yourself from time to time as you’ll be having so much fun you’ll be back signing up for your next ride before you know it!
Horse riding and pony treks are suitable for all ages from 6+.
